At J Hodson Machine Tools we offer drives and control retrofits for all Cincinnati machines.  We use Fanuc and Vickers 2100 controls and drives to replace your old controls with user friendly interfaces.

The spindle and axis drives package of the Fanuc control can include digital scales to your control which can increase the repetition and accuracy of your machine.

You may want to machine more of your part in one single setup, and we can help you to do this by adding a fourth axis.

We can upgrade your Cincinnati machine tools control with Greco Company products which will allow you to create your own programs via your PC thus eliminating the need for tapes.  In addition to this we can also convert your system to load programmed disks through the Greco unit.

Cincinnati machines use a variety of control systems including Fanuc, Siemens and Heidenhain. We can offer a variety of replacement monitors for Cincinnati machine tools.

note: running on Windows NT, the Vickers 2100 control is also PC compatible, and can be networked through third party software to your system.  The 2100 control can use your existing spindle and axis drives so that upgrades don’t have to happen straight away.
